A Gentle & Dignified Farewell
At Radiant Heart, we provide two distinct cremation methods, on-site at our facility in Bellingham, WA, ensuring that your pet never leaves our care. Every pet is assigned a unique steel ID tag that remains with them throughout the process, guaranteeing that the cremated remains you receive are those of your pet.

Our Recommended, Eco-Friendly Choice
Since 2018, we have proudly offered eco-friendly water cremation, and it has become the preferred choice for over 85% of the families we serve. This gentle process, also known as aquamation, uses warm water and a natural alkali solution to accelerate the natural breakdown process. It is a quiet, peaceful method that is significantly kinder to our environment.
Eco-Friendly:
Produces zero harmful greenhouse gas emissions and uses a fraction of the energy of flame cremation.
A Gentle Process:
Uses a gentle flow of water rather than fire.
Accommodates All Sizes:
Suitable for pets from 0 to 300 lbs.
More Cremains Returned:
This process allows for the return of approximately 20% more cremated remains.
Traditional Flame , Cremation
Flame cremation is the method most people are familiar with. It is a process that uses natural gas and heat to reduce a pet’s body to cremated remains. We perform this service with the same level of dignity and care as we do with eco-friendly water cremation
A Traditional Method:
The traditional and widely known cremation process.
For Smaller Pets:
Suitable for pets from 0 to 100 lbs.
Additional Fee Notice:
Due to significant increases in natural gas costs, there is an additional $29 fee for choosing flame cremation. We are transparent about this fee to cover the higher operational cost compared to water cremation.
