Ink Prints

Your pet’s ink print (nose, paw, claw, foot, tail) is special, and at Radiant Heart we use a variety of inks, tools, and techniques to obtain the best print possible.

We start by gently cleaning and moisturizing your pet’s nose or paw. For paw prints, your pet’s nails are trimmed and then a grooming tool is used to carefully remove fur from between and round the paw pads. We then use a silicone covered block, ink pad and card stock to take as many impressions as needed. Once we have an impression with beautiful/natural form and detail, the print is scanned and then digitally cleaned. The digital image is printed on cream-colored card-stock and is suitable for framing. Both the original and digital copies are saved.

By default your pet’s print(s) are arranged along with your pet’s name, month and year of death, and a quote by Irving Townsend.  If you would like a different layout or special text, please let us know below.
